What You’ll Need
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 5 years of rotating equipment or related experience (machinist, millwright, or pump mechanic)
• Ability and willingness to work on-site and in-person
• Eligibility to obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings
• Knowledge of bearings, seals, compressors, pumps, cylinders, valve and pipe configurations, shaft packing, and drive systems
• Understanding of characteristics of metals and lubricants
